Well i know a major problem now is that regular crops are being crossed with GM crops whose pollen is wind touched. Nothing illegal, nothing they can really do, but the farmer is out of his organic label.lol well i won't disagree that most brits would appear more restrained than the average American we arn't exactly pushovers. However once something is done we get over it pretty quickly-Blair got three terms, despite the Iraq War. Just don't trust mainstream media. Find out for yourself.

The great Australian journalist John Pilger quoted a Czech intellectual back in the cold war days as saying that things were better behind the Iron curtain in one respect alone: behind the iron curtain it was clear that the press lied about everything whereas in the west they lied a lot but you couldnt tell which bits were lies. Watching tv now in the days of the Gaza assault, the shades of cold war pravda come to mind as "gallant little Israel" tackles the might of Gaza (cue stirring music)

SpiritKeeper--well said. But I am afraid, really afraid that the story I heard about American corporations not only free to use GM but NOT required to label it ontheir products create a possible crisis in America(of course)but also in the UK where I can imagine legal pressure (restraint of trade?) on the ever-docile British to to what the very worst of Americans demand instead of listening to the very best of Americans. Iraq War? Diego Garcia? Vietnam?

I just remember when they had the national vote on whether or not to legalise GM crops in Britain, and when it was massively rejected the government were surprised and tried to do it again. 'keep voting until we get the result we want' mindset. Its like you can't trust anyone. Foot and mouth was spread because big companies were trying to pass of recycled cows and sheep as a food supplement going on about its "mineral and vitamin qualities" Lucky for me the farmers in my area all said No.

Where does a real reporter then seek a job? These people worked for LOCAL NEWS, which is not as tightly regulated by the Illuminati's top-down control as are cable news programs. The manager is clearly getting his strings pulled based on the reporter's testimony.
