The "Countdown" commentator says it is contradictory for the Alaska Governor to call out Barack Obama for "palling around with terrorists" when her own husband is an acquaintance of one. Or to even bring up Obama's former Rev. Jeremiah Wright, when she herself has her own controversial pastor.Original airdate: October 6, 2008 |

My thoughts? How could the American people not have voted for Ron Paul? Are they really the servile sheep they appear to be? Bush will go down as perhaps the worst president in American history. Deservedly. Obama is a closet marxist who knows exactly squat about economics. And 'squat' is a good deal more than McCain knew about anything. The only difference between the two is how they proposed to destroy the nation and probably get us all killed. Those are pretty much my thoughts. Cheers.

He's calling Joe Volger a "terrorist" and Volger was born in 1913. But that is just a "specific fact" that for some reason you deliberately chose to get wrong.

are at the very least completely against the Republican agenda. Thus I had no problem with the so called "liberal" media attacking Palin's strong ties to a party which has a view contrary to her own party's ideology if the so called "right wing" media may attack Obama on a very weak tie to a radical of the yesteryears.Your thoughts?

By comparison, Nevada is approximately 68% federally owned. Yet they don't feel the need to ask for fewer restrictions on land ownership. In fact, Alaska has pretty much the average percentage of federally owned land. Now when the US government was taking land away from Native Americans, and they refused to leave, they were seen as rogues, dissenters, and ultimately terrorists. I do not quite agree with Olbermann in his framing of the AIP as terrorists, but I think you must agree that they

Firstly, Alaska became a state on January 3, 1959. Todd Palin was born on September 6, 1964. But those are just specifics, I would not be content with merely arguing that single false point. The AIP's position that it is wrong that Alaska should have the most federally owned land in North America, is a valid one. Alaska does have more federally owned land than any other state. It is also the largest state. Only 20.5% of it's land is federally owned.

Some guy wanting Alaska to be as independent as it was when that person was born there, does not make him a terrorist. According to Olberman then, even Robert E. Lee was a terrorist. Alaska only became a state in the lifetime of many, perhaps most, of Americans living today. Equating anyone with not approving the change with a known terrorist just further demonstrates what a windbag Olberman truly is.
