Carnegie Mellon Professor Randy Pausch (Oct. 23, 1960 - July 25, 2008) gave his last lecture at the university Sept. 18, 2007, before a packed McConomy Auditorium. | Nothing wrong with Atheism, much better than a ridiculous belief in Horus..oops i forgot u call him Jesus. Ud be happy floating on your lil' cloud in lala land knowing other people are suffering? - that's called cowardice.Dont forget theirs billions of muslims who think u and urs are gonna be roasted too. |

I don't think the fact that he was an atheist diminished his hero status in any way, shape, or form. There isn't anything wrong with being an atheist.

This last lecture made a big impact on my life to do things I thought that I could ever do or imagine. I will never forget this last lecture nor Randy Pausch; you are my inspiration.

You can't change the cards you're dealt.. that was actually true about most disease and malfunctions of the human body back in the days. Science has been "allowed" to grow since than and things have changed quite allot. Even the christians have a saying: God helps those who help themselves but than they go and pray for shit.. ask god or jesus or the holy spirit to grant them things.. oddly, if they'd followed up on the previous statement they'd just do it themselves and stop wasting time!

Those who knew Randy know that he walked around claiming to be a proud athiest. Sorry to have to diminish his hero status this way, but the truth must be known. I hope and pray that he finally accepted Christ on his deathbed.

lol...can i say that this was my goal, that i watched a tv show out of boredom last year and made it a point to read a specific book?!? and when i read that book, that i was compelled to watch a video and it brought me to this point...i was blown away...can it be that simple...i was sad to hear his passing...but to hear his "passing on..."lol...made my life worthwhile...i cried so hard...for being grateful... :)
