an in depth look at a couples relationship while facing infertility

I agree. A lot of people try to blame it on the infertile couple by saying things like, "you should just relax!" or "maybe you shouldn't have waited so long!" My husband and I are both young so luckily we haven't heard the last comment but I always hear the first one.

Maybe that is not the best wording ( I took it from other websites as I learned about infertility) but what I was trying to say is that infertility is not someone's fault. You don't choose to not be able to have children. Most people don't do something to themselves that cause this problem. Glad you liked the rest of the film.Jen

The only thing I don't like about the video is how it says that "infertility is a disease of the reproductive system". While this may be the case in some people it is not the case in all. Some women have blood clotting issues, some have an iodine deficiency, some have the rh factor, for some women their biological clocks have simply run out and they don't have any good eggs left - none of those are 'infections of the reproductive system'.

I am so sorry. That sounds hard for both of you!

I am not sure. Many couples don't report live births to the fertility clinics and data is hard to find. But I know there are those...my aunt is one of them. She and her husband have adopted 4 girls

Infertility effects everyone. A friend of mine who I loved very much stopped talking to me after I became pregnant. It was like losing a sister.

Question: What percentage of infertile couples actually become pregnant later on in life? Or rather, how many remain infertile for their whole lives?
