Hi, i tried it, i´m rather lazy, and people say i have become more brawny with raw food.I lost 24 pounds and have more energy, very little body fat and much mor muscles. And everything is firm and tight, without doing a lot of sports (maby once or twice a month).I wonder how I would look if I would do some sports....

Raw Gurus like David Wolfe sell alot of Expensive supplements that claim to be 'raw' and are loaded with all kinds of Nutrients. My question is a simple one, just as we can all take our Water to a Facility to have it independently Tested and Analyzed as to its specific contents, Is there any Place out there that Independently and Scientifically 'tests' Nutritional Products so that we can know if we are being lied to or not ?I cant be the ONLY 1 asking this question and wondering !!!!

I've just been looking into this. Apparently most essential and conditionally essential amino acids are pretty tough and gentle, brief cooking of a significant part of your diet leaves them intact and unmodified. The main advantage of eating some raw food (if you are wealthy and tend to overeat) is the calories required to digest them - as well as the fact that /some/ nutrients /do/ break down under even gentle heating.

He's saying you don't need to /eat/ protein to build the necessary proteins that form muscle - because you only break the proteins that you eat into amino acids so you may as well just eat the amino acids directly. You body will then combine them into the proteins that it needs.

I agree with what you're saying about raw foods, and I recently switched from SAD to RAW.And I won't be going back, because of how good I feel eating RAW.Do you document the foods that you eat?I would like to see that so that so I could incorporate those food items into my diet.I also notice that I don't feel as good when I eat nuts or seeds. Nothing makes me feel better than a green smoothie. Thanks
